Luekemia Warriors Update on Brad Wos Health Sept 2020

As many of you know on June 4th, 2019 Brad Wos Our EFCA Central All People Director was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or CLL. This diagnosis came as a result of a routine physical in May that revealed Brad’s spleen was 3 inches enlarged, Brad is on his bike 100-125 miles a week and the doctor reported that if Brad had fallen and ruptured his enlarged spleen he would have died. Brad’s daughter was also getting married in June 2019 and the Lord was very kind to allow Brad to walk his daughter down the aisle and celebrate.

Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis has been a gift from God as Brad was placed on a 19 month CLL Immunotherapy clinical trial.  For the last 14 months, Brad’s White Blood Cell Count that was initially at 644,000 has been healthy at 3,500 to 5,000.  The Living  Proof picture of Brad is a testimony to the Lord providing medical care and wisdom in answer to your prayer. Thank you for so many notes of encouragement and prayers for our family in the last 15 months!

As Brad has traveled the EFCA Central and spoke at Churches he has met many people who are also Cancer Warriors. Brad believes his Leukemia is a Gift from God to share the Hope of Christ as one who also suffers alongside other cancer warriors. If you or a family member at your church is a cancer warrior we want to build a network of Hope in the EFCA Central. Would you please send us a brief reply to this blog with praise or prayer in your battle?

Brad is biking a Metric Century tomorrow September 27th for Pedal the Cause Siteman Research. If you would like to support Leukemia research here is the link to support his ride.
